Chain of Command
This is our Chain of Command, or CoC. All SEALs must adhere to this chain of command, and must respect their senior teammates. This chain is simple to follow and simple to understand. There is a detailed section at the bottom explaining each of the ranks, what they mean, and what a member of that rank must do. Climbing up the ladder is a matter of being a team player, who doesn't care about the K/D ratio, but who is ready to sacrifice himself for the team. That is what we look for, not the lone sniper, not the crazed COD run and gunner. Without further ado, here is our CoC.
The way this works is simple.
Seamen are just members of the forums, or possible recruits. They are not members of the clan.
Petty Officers are members of the clan. They are the bulk of the clan, and at the bottom of the command chain in a squad. They take orders from their Squad Officer.
Chief Petty Officers are clan members who have rotating Squad Officer assignments. This means that they are applying to be permanent Squad Officers and are showing us what they got. Having this rank means you can be a Squad Officer if a permanent one is not available in the Lobby.
Chief Warrant Officers are clan members who have achieved the position of a permanent Squad Officer. There is a seniority system, and in a Lobby where there are more CWO's than needed, we will either volunteer or choose who we want to be the Squad Officer. Or in a more formal setting (clan matches), the higher ranked CWO gets the priority and the elite players. They are, however, ranked lower than the Executive Officer and the Commander.
The Master Chief Petty Officer of the Clan is the Clan member manager, also known as the Executive Officer. He is the second highest ranking Squad officer. He organizes the clan and makes squad assignments, and has the power to recommend rank promotions to the Commander. His recommendation is necessary for a promotion to Squad Officer. He's also the clan's diplomat and will set up alliances, matches, and tournaments for the clan.
The Commander is the clan leader, DOCTA-PEPPER-MD. I am the highest ranking Squad Officer. All decisions go by me and all promotions are made by me. I'm in charge of the direction of the clan, our image, and standards. I make sure we kick ass .
